They finally did it!!! After 14 years together Nicole and Angel tied the knot on December 31, 2011. The ceremony aired live on a special Our Haunted Lives episode with all their amazing friends and CPEAR members in attendance with Mike Mafera as Best Man and Carrie Kerns as Maid of Honor. In true form to Angel and Nicole the wedding was full of fun and laughter.Click here to listen to the episode

During the holiday season Connecticut Soul Seekers along with Beacon Falls Paranormal Society and CPEAR made over $600.00 worth of donations to local families in need and animal shelters. The teams are looking forward to more fundraising for charities in the future.
On October 8, 2011 Connecticut Soul Seekers gave a presentation at a fundraising event held by Nathan Schoonover aka The Demon Hunter in New Milford CT. The event helped to raise funds for repairs on the New Milford Masonic Lodge. It was a great night with some amazing speakers including Frank Todaro of The Invisible World ,Donna Parish-Bischoff and Teri Garofalo of the Entities-R-us comic and Indy Para. Also making an appearance that night were Mike Mafera of CPEAR, Andy Seidel of Indy Para and authors Stacey Longo and Kristi Peterson Schoonover for book signings! What a great night and all for a wonderful cause.


Fall of 2011 Connecticut Soul Seekers and CPEAR collaborated together to complete a numerous amount of lectures free to the public in order to help better educate others on the paranormal. A huge THANK YOU to CPEAR for having us be a part of such great events! Both teams are looking forward to more presentations in the future



Recently the CT Soul Seekers had the pleasure of working with Beacon Fall Paranormal Society  founders Kevin Larocque and Matt Dowdell. Although the investigation was quiet it was a great opportunity for both teams to work together and experience each others investigative styles. We look forward to more collaborations in the future as both teams are very supportive of unity in the paranormal community.

Our friend at Paranormal Eh? Radio recently brought the extremely popular round table discussions to the radio show.The debut of the first ever round table on Paranormal Eh? Radio  5/21/11 featured CT Soul Seekers Nicole Hall and host of Ghostly Talk Scott L.We are proud to say the episode was a huge success,so much that the fans are demanding a part 2 of this show! Stay tuned for announcements when the next show will air.To listen to the first ever round table click here  .The discussion topics covered shadow people.aliens and of course the rapture that was called off two minutes before air time! But that didn't hinder the review of Harold Camping's end of the world prediction.

Relay For Life of Shelton 2010

The CT Soul Seekers had an amazing time at Relay For Life this year.Thanks to all those who donated we were able to raise over $500 dollars as a team for the event.Unfortunately due to the storm the event was called off on Saturday night.On the bright side the day was beautiful and special to all those who participated.

The CT Soul Seekers would like to extend a special thank you to Emily Sampson of Newtown , CT for all her hard work and help during the event.Although the day was quite hot and muggy,Emily never let that stop her as she repeatedly  walked the track carrying the CTSS information board.

At one point the winds from the storm became so strong it actually ripped our gazebo right from the ground even though it had been carefully staked down.As the winds blew our tent away and took several others along with it,Emily quickly helped by gathering equipment and storing it in a dry area so that it would not become damaged.She further engaged herself by helping to secure and store the tent away.

Thank you so much Emily we couldn't have done it without you!

You and your entire family are truly special and we at CTSS are all blessed to call you our friends.

 Ghostman—Shaun Burris, a blue collar ghost hunter for over 10 years, Nathan Schoonover—AKA the Demon Hunter, a paranormal investigator and counselor for more then 15 years, and Jason Gowin—the funniest guy dealing with the unknown for over a decade,waned to bring you two things: the big names in the paranormal community the way they got to see them behind the scenes, and the groups and investigators out there in the paranormal trenches. Thus the Shock Jocks of the supernatural were born. Ghostman and Demon Hunter are live every Sunday night at 10:00 PM EST. 
Recently the CT Soul Seekers had the pleasure of getting to know Jason and Rich Butler along with their fiances Amy and Melissa.They are a wonderful group of people who have been assisting Lorraine Warren on events such as Paranormal State (PRS) and NESPR's Gettysburg Field Trip and the Hotel of Horror.They all share our common interest in the paranormal and helping those in need of assistance.In addition, Jason has proven himself to be a wonderful photographer and has captured some amazing images.Please visit our paranormal links page to access his site.We are very much looking forward to them collaborating with us on future investigations.

On December 29th 2009, members of CPEAR appeared on A&E's reality show "Psychic Kids" episode: "Ghost School". 

-What a great opportunity it was to be a part of"Psychic Kids,” said CPEAR co-founder Mike Mafera. “Not only was it a great learning experience working with a production company, but most of all, it helps get our group name out there to everyone watching the show. This allows us to possibly reach out to thousands of people that are scared and may need assistance or advice if they are experiencing the paranormal in their homes or business.
